Materials management supports the procurement and inventory functions which occur in the business operations of the facility.
Central Supply – acts primarily as a materials management resource for Calhoun Liberty Hospital. Services provided include Purchase Order Management, Central Receiving/Shipping/Surplus – warehousing and property management.
Purchasing – is responsible for procurement of goods and services and obtaining maximum value for each purchase. This involves promoting understanding and compliance with purchasing regulations throughout the organization.
Our Materials Management Department is responsible for purchasing all hospital supplies and equipment and for controlling hospital inventory. The department interfaces with every hospital department assuring supplies are kept in stock, equipment is purchased in a timely manner and all supplies are available 24 hours a day.
Housekeeping Department Manger
Housekeeping – is responsible for providing an essential function throughout the facility. Housekeeping duties are required to maintain the cleanliness and appeal of our environment and plays a necessary duty in preventing the spread of infection.
