About the New Hospital

Where is the new hospital located?

The new Calhoun Liberty Hospital is located at 16257 SR 71 South, Blountstown, FL 32424, just south of the city center on State Road 71.

When will the new hospital start seeing patients?

We plan to begin patient care at the new facility on August 17, 2025, pending final approvals and no delays.

Why can't you open earlier, like August 1?

The building must be inspected and approved by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and other officials before we begin care. These inspections take place between August 1–16.

What happens between the open house and opening day?

Final inspections will take place, equipment will be moved, and our team will prepare for patient care. Once all approvals are received, we plan to open on August 17.

Can I tour the hospital after it opens?

No. The Open House on July 31 (10 AM – 4 PM) is your one chance to walk through the facility before it begins operating. After opening, only public areas will be accessible to visitors due to patient privacy and hospital operations.
