Calhoun Liberty Hospital recently recognized the retirement of longtime board member Laddie Williams, whose leadership and persistence helped shape the hospital’s direction and strengthened its role in the community. Throughout his years of service, he remained committed to ensuring that residents of Calhoun and Liberty Counties had access to a hospital they could depend on.

His involvement spanned many eras of the organization’s history, including the years of planning and effort that ultimately led to the development of the new facility now serving patients. His belief in the importance of investing in modern, sustainable rural healthcare played an important part in moving that vision forward.

With the hospital now operating in its new building, Mr. Williams chose to step down from board service, confident in the progress underway and the momentum ahead. The Board of Directors has welcomed Tony Layne to fill the seat, bringing business experience and a shared commitment to continued stability and growth.

CLH is deeply grateful for Mr. Williams’ decades of dedication and remains proud to build on the foundation he helped create.
