At Calhoun Liberty Hospital (CLH), we are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to every patient—regardless of ability to pay. As a not-for-profit facility, your payments help support and expand essential healthcare services in our community. Whether you’re trying to pay your CLH bill, need help understanding insurance, or are looking for financial assistance, we’re here to help you navigate every step.

Billing Process

When you visit CLH or the clinic, our billing process starts at registration. We ask that you bring your current insurance information—including health, auto, or workers’ compensation plans. This helps us file claims promptly and accurately.

CLH submits claims directly to your insurer as a courtesy. Once your claim is processed, you may receive a bill for any remaining charges not covered by insurance, such as:

  • Copayments
  • Coinsurance
  • Deductibles

If you’re unable to pay your hospital bill in full, we offer payment plans and financial assistance. Contact Patient Financial Services at 850‑674‑5411 for support.

Insurance Accepted at CLH

CLH accepts most major insurance plans, including both private and government-funded coverage. If you don’t see your provider listed or need help confirming coverage, contact our office.
