Play for Pink was the theme of CLH’s first Breast Cancer Awareness Bingo event held in October. CLH and the CLH Foundation hosted the evening, with the Calhoun County Senior Citizens Association facilitating the games. More than 50 guests arrived dressed in pink for a fun community gathering supporting an important cause.

Local organizations donated prizes, and guests enjoyed refreshments prepared by Metz Culinary Services. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, CLH also partnered with Big Bend AHEC and PanCare to provide nearly 30 free screening services.

Since moving into the new facility in August, CLH has completed more than 180 mammograms and now offers DEXA scans as well. Many patients choose to schedule both studies during the same visit. For screenings, providers can send orders to CLH or individuals may call 850-674-5411, Ext. 200 to schedule directly.
