Calhoun Liberty Hospital has officially moved into our new, state-of-the-art facility, marking an exciting step forward for healthcare in Calhoun, Liberty, and parts of Gulf and Jackson counties. This new hospital, located at 16257 State Road 71 in Blountstown, ensures that our communities will continue to have access to high-quality care for generations to come. The facility replaces our previous location on NE Burns Avenue, which was severely damaged by Hurricane Michael and could not be rebuilt to current standards. This multi-million-dollar project is one of the largest economic investments in the area’s history, made possible through support that includes significant federal and state funding. We are proud to begin this new chapter and continue serving our community with care and commitment.

In 2018, Category 5 Hurricane Michael devastated Calhoun County, Florida, causing severe damage to Calhoun Liberty Hospital. Despite the destruction, the hospital has remained open, serving the community.
